Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Sunday Morning Worship Gathering Like?

Service begins with a time of announcements followed by the congregation singing hymns and praise & worship songs to God, and then a time of prayer. On the first Sunday of each month, our church family celebrates open communion which is a time of remembrance and thanksgiving for the gift of salvation through Jesus’ atoning sacrifice. All Christians are welcome to join in. Our pastor then delivers an expository message from God’s Word. You will have a printed guide to help you through the service and a sermon outline for notes and reflections.

Is Childcare Available During Sunday Worship Gatherings?

We have a staff of caring childcare workers to take care of your infant, toddler or preschooler during our Sunday Worship Gathering. Our goal at Grace is to provide your child with a safe, secure and loving place to be while you are participating in the Worship Gathering, therefore, each volunteer in all Children’s Ministries has undergone a criminal background check.

What is Available for School Aged Students During the Worship Gathering?

We love to have family worship together at Grace! Students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to join the congregation during the beginning of the Worship Gathering and then attend Children’s Church. Students will be dismissed from the Worship Gathering prior to the beginning of the preaching of the Word and can be picked up from the Children’s Church room at the conclusion of the Worship Gathering. Students from 4th grade through 8th grade are invited to remain in the entire service and complete the Worship Challenge which is geared towards helping them learn from the preaching of the Word.

What Kind of Music Can I Expect?

Music is a magnificent way to praise and please God. Grace offers a blend of music. We worship the Lord through singing hymns as well as more contemporary praise and worship music.

What Should I Wear?

Wear what makes you comfortable. You will see a few people in full “Sunday dress”, many folks in business casual and still others dressed even more casually. We want you to feel at home!

What About Bible Study?

In addition to our Sunday Morning Worship Gathering we offer other opportunities to study the Bible with others. There are Sunday Morning Small groups available for all ages at 9:45am. These classes are taught by qualified teachers who have a passion to share the Word of God with others. The church family also gathers on Wednesday evenings for a meal and Bible Study. The fellowship meal begins at 5:15pm and Bible Study classes begin at 6:00pm. There are classes for children ages 3 (fully potty trained) up through 12th grade as well as options for adults looking to dig deeper into God’s Word.
