In a time where so many things are attacking the minds and hearts of young people, we want to provide a place to seek refuge–that place is not in the room where we gather, but in Christ who we will worship and study. This will happen through interactive games and activities that will coincide with the lesson from scripture. Our class time will also include mission and ministry projects to serve our church and local community that we may be obedient in heading Christ’s instructions to be salt and light. (Matt. 5:13-16) The Refuge youth will also include special events that are for fellowship and outreach. Once a month, the Refuge will have an activity that will give the students an opportunity to fellowship in a Christian environment. Activities will vary and range from things like cookouts, bowling, concerts, campfires, and the occasional service project. Service projects will involve the Refuge group helping our community by serving people both young and old.

Wednesday Nights

The Refuge Youth Ministry meets on every Wednesday night from 6-7:30 and will coincide with the AWANA ministry. A typical gathering of the Refuge class will include games, activities and a lesson from Scripture. The purpose of this group is to offer the students that God blesses us with a place to come and grow in the knowledge and understanding of who He is through His written Word.
