Upcoming Events & Calendar:

Every year at Grace Baptist Church, we begin January with a special sermon series that hopes to unify our course and prayers for the year as a body of Christ followers. This year’s sermon series is entitled, “20/20 Vision”. We just began this series last Sunday, and for the next two Sundays we will be looking at three fundamental elements of our vision for Grace Baptist in 2020: Family, Fellowship, & Faithfulness. Please join us every Sunday at 11am for our Sunday Worship Services. Sunday Small Groups meet at 9:45am.
New! Financial Peace University offers a special money class from Dave Ramsey as well as accountability and encouragement with a local group. The first meeting will be on Thursday, January 23rd, and will meet for 9 weeks at 7pm in the Grace Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Please visit fpu.com/1110540 to learn more, and contact Heather or Eddie Spence if you have any questions.
It’s time for a new church directory, and we need your help! We need one person from each family to update their information, and there are two different ways that you can choose to do it. Either fill out an online form at www.hisgraceforyou.org/gbc-directory/ or pick up a paper form from the Church Office, and give it to Casey Elkins.
As we enter the season of wintery weather, it’s good to know that GBC will always send out important notifications through email, our website, phone tree, and our Facebook page to let you know of any weather-related closings or delays. Here is the link to sign-up for GBC emails: https://bit.ly/34RRBEH.

Our annual Baby Bottle Boomerang begins on Sanctity of Life Sunday, January 19th. Together, we will raise our prayers, raise people’s awareness, and help raise the funds necessary for the Pregnancy Care Center of Martinsville to fulfill their mission of saving the lives of babies and caring for them and their parents, before and after they are safely brought into this world, all for the glory of Jesus Christ. Be sure to visit https://www.pregcc.com/
or contact Margaret Carlson to learn more about this incredible ministry and their mission!
MOPS Mom University
The Grace Baptist MOPS have tentatively rescheduled their Mom University for Tuesday, February 4th.
Who says mom life is dull?! We certainly know it isn’t, but sometimes it can feel like our brains aren’t being used to their full potential, right? Come check out Mom University where we will learn a few new tricks to keep up our sleeves! We will have 6 stations set up where we will see a 10-15 minute presentations on something new we can use in our mom lives, or maybe even a hobby to cultivate.
Come explore: Calligraphy/watercolor, easy hairstyles, beginner sewing skills, table setting, tie tying, and first aid.
Bring a potluck side to share if you wanna hang out for lunch afterwards and discuss what we learned. **Free childcare available**
