New Men’s Ministry!

Men's Ministry Event Pic

We are about to launch a new Men’s Ministry this Saturday for men aged 15 and up. We will meet on the first Saturday of every month from 8:30-10:30am for breakfast, fellowship, and bible study at the church. This Saturday, April 2nd will be our first meeting, and our first study will be of a book and DVD series entitled, “How People Change…How Christ Changes Us By His Grace”. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Baptist Church and kick-off with a hearty breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash-browns. There is no cost, but please contact Pastor Mark (229-5719 or pastor@hisgraceforyou.org) if you would like to attend, so we will have enough materials and food for everyone. And, please be sure to invite your friends!!!

A Summary of the How People Change Study:
If you’ve ever tried, failed, and wondered why, you need How People Change! When the Bible talks about the gift of a new heart, it does not mean a heart that is immediately perfected, but a heart that is capable of being changed. Jesus’ work on the cross targets our hearts, our core desires and motivations, and when our hearts change, our behavior changes. A changed heart is the bright promise of the gospel and the goal of How People Change by biblical counseling experts Timothy S. Lane and Paul David Tripp. How People Change explains the biblical pattern for change in a clear, practical way you can apply to the challenges of daily life. But change involves more than a biblical formula: you will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be. That powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience.
