What is Sunday Morning Worship Service Like?
Service begins with a time of announcements followed by the congregation singing hymns and praise & worship songs to God, followed by a time of prayer. On the first Sunday of each month, our church family celebrates open communion which is a time of remembrance and thanksgiving for the gift of salvation through Jesus’ atoning sacrifice. All Christians are welcome to join in. Our pastor then delivers an expository message from God’s Word. You can listen to a sermon online if you wish. You’ll have a printed guide to help you through the service and a sermon outline for notes and reflections.
What about Bible study?
In addition to Sunday School lessons and sermons, our church family meets together every Wednesday evening for a meal and a time of Bible study. Also on Wednesday evening, our children our trained in the Word through our AWANA Camp. And our Youth also have a special meeting Sunday evenings at 6:00pm.
What Kind of Music Can I Expect?
Music is a magnificent way to praise and please God. We offer a blend of music where you will hear hymns as well as great praise and worship music. In addition to our choir, we often have special music provided by various members in our church. You can learn more about our music on the music ministry page.
What Should I Wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable. You’ll see a few people in full “Sunday dress”, many folks in business casual and still others dressed more casually. We want you to feel at home! We only ask that you don’t bring in cell phones. If you must, please turn them off or set them to vibrate.
Is Childcare Available?
We have a staff of caring childcare workers to take care of your infant or toddler. Children’s church is held during the Sunday morning service for K-3rd grade. For more information, check out our Children’s Ministry page.
