Operation Christmas Child Packing Party this Sunday!

This Sunday, November 24th, we are excited to host our annual Shoebox Packing Party for Operation Christmas Child! After this Sunday’s Worship Service, please help us share God’s love to a child who needs the gospel–and some Christmas cheer! We will be in the Fellowship Hall assembling shoeboxes, with individual items donated for our Packing Party. If you would like to help by donating individual items, please consider hygiene items, clothing, school supplies, or a special toy or craft. You can also donate money to go towards shipping, as each shoebox costs $9 to send to a child.

If you have a filled Operation Christmas Child Shoebox, please bring it to GBC this Sunday to be inspected and dropped off for shipment around the globe. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Visit https://youtu.be/Oph9jVV3ldc to watch the inspiring true testimony from Kim, a woman from Cambodia who received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox as a child, and the impact that a simple shoebox can make.

NOTE: Samaritan’s Purse will not accept candy; toothpaste; used items; war-related items such as toy guns or military figures; food; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items, such as snow globes or glass containers.
